 NORTHCORD UKBUS6546 National Express West Midlands Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC 6148 (SN15LHV) on route 11A to Acocks Green with via Kings Heath carried in the front destination. The bus was new to Yardley Wood garage in May 2015. It was repainted into retro Birmingham City Transport livery, including trademark khaki roof, in August 2024. Although appearing to be a manufacturing error, the lack of the blue pinstripe within the advert frames on the upper panelling is a feature that is replicated correctly from the real bus. This is the third NMC model carrying a classic West Midlands livery. The first one is UKBUS9501 Scania OmniCity double-deck model that replicated 4780 (BU08EHZ) in West Midlands PTE livery on route 67 to Birmingham launched in August 2023. The second one is UKBUS6205 Alexander Dennis Enviro400 model that replicated 4722 (BU07LGY) in Birmingham City Transport livery on route 18 to Yardley Wood launched in September 2024. The Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square, gasket-mounted windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the model is its tree protector at the front. The front dome on the model is significant, with curved windscreens on both upper deck and lower deck. Northcord Model Company is also creating new design standards within the interior of both saloons. These features, inside the compartments, will represent the real, outstanding layout of the Enviro400MMC, such as the extensive portrayal of handrails on upper deck and lower deck, etc.
