Lodekka FLF
In 1949 the first Bristol Lodekka took to the road in the shape of the Bristol Tramways & Carriage Company's (later known as Bristol Omnibus Co) LC5000 (LHY949).
SHOWBUS 1999 celebrated 50 years of the Lodekka with a special display of preserved models - and some still in service. Models range from the early LD-series to the later flat floor forward entrance models, captured for posterity in a variety of liveries by EFE.
The winning Lodekka at SHOWBUS on September 26th, Hants & Dorset GLJ748D, received a cheque from Dennis - makers of the Lodekka under licence, as the Loline - and a specially mounted EFE model.
