Fleets of coaches await the arrival of passengers at St Helier harbour after the arrival of the Condor
catamaran, which links Jersey with Guernsey, Poole and St Malo. A pair of Pioneer Wadham Stringer
bodied Swifts and their drivers wait patiently for their customers.

While the Swifts give a fairly modern image to the Pioneer fleet, as do the Toyota Optimo and
Reeve Burgess Swift captured above, this Leyland PD2, believed ex Lancaster, is from a different era.
A relative newcomer to the island, it finds ready customers for its coastal tour.
