 This heavily rebuilt Albion Clydesdale was new in 1980 to Highland Transport in Lautoka. It passed to Pacific as their 121 in 1982 when Highland was taken over. The fleet number was removed in the early nineties. It was new with a Lal body (Highland almost always specified Lal), but oddly got rebodied by Lal when Pacific owned it. Pacific owned Shreedhar the bodybuilders and they would normally have rebodied any buses that needed to be done. |

This is believed to be an Ashok-Leyland with Shreedhar body from 1995, CX240.

This bus was Rowe’s Bus Service of Plumpton, NSW (later Busways), MO808, new in 1972. The Albion Viking VK55L arrived in Fiji by 1996 and was rebodied by Shreedhar. It later passed to local operator Classic Buses.

Built in 1994, CS840, is an Ashok-Leyland Viking with Shreedhar coach body and seen in Pacific’s long-distance coach livery. It did not carry a fleet number from new. This coach has hardly changed it was still in service in 2015 (photographed by Peter Trevor from Samoa) and still had the coach livery and coach seats, but was working local services in Lautoka.

 This is a Leyland 401-engined truck chassis, built in 1990 and new to Pacific Transport with a Shreedhar body, as 152 (CG950). The Leyland 401 and 402 were replacements for the Albion (Leyland) Viking, but did not sell as well because of Leyland marketing. Fiji would have taken a couple of hundred, but in the end, the Model only went to South Africa, India, Fiji, Tanzania and one or two batches to South America. By 2012 152 was lying derelict in Lautoka depot. Just after 2017, Pacific abandoned all the local routes around Lautoka. The routes have mainly gone to Classic Buses. |
