Back in 2000 faithful Mercedes O305 were in use on the bus service linking Auckland Airport with the downtown area. The buses, six in total, were ex Auckland Regional Authority in 1991.

Back in 2000 one of the pick up points in the downtown area for the Air Bus service was Lloyds Bank and the bus is one of a small fleet of rather cramped Isuzus with poor accessibility.

This Nissan Scorpion SBR180 with Fairfax bodywork was also on the Air Bus route in 2005 and was one of several in this new blue and yellow graphiced livery designed to give the service a new image. The Air Bus operation was a division of Tourism Holdings Ltd who had several tourism interests in Australia and New Zealand including Kiwi Experience, Johnston's, Newmans and Great Sights. |

By 2008 responsibility for the service had passed to Go Bus who operated this ex Leopard Designline bodied MAN 12.223, DAU251. In 2017 Australian based Skybus had taken over the airport operation. |
