Carousel Wright Streetlite DF 401
A new type appeared in the Carousel fleet in 2015. Seen leaving Wycombe Station precinct in early September is 401 (SM15HWC), a Wright Streetlite DF. It is route branded for the link service to Heathrow but, unusually, is working the Chesham 1 route. Unlike Arriva in Wycombe, Carousel were normally very good at keeping route branded buses on their advertised routes. Interestingly Arriva had just put a number of WF Streetlites in service in the town.

Carousel Wright Streetlite DF 402
Three days later the second of the pair is seen on the A40 Heathrow service arriving back in Wycombe. This is 402 (SM15HWD), the pair have displaced Mercedes Citaros from the airport route.

Carousel Wright Streetlite DF 403
Passing through the short pedestrianised area of Castle Street in the town centre in June 2016 is 403 (SM65LNE) prominently lettered for the Park & Ride but not in the dark blue livery of the dedicated P&R Streetlites. Equally it is not on the P&R service bus the 35 to Flackwell Heath.

Carousel Wright Streetlite DF 405 X80 Regatta
Complete with "Regatta Line" branding 405 (SM65LNG) heads for Reading on the X80 competing with Arriva's 800/850. It is seen just leaving Wycombe in August 2016 and despite the regstration it is diesel powered!

Forward to Wycombe Bus Station in June 2018 and the X80 was no more and 405 had the new "Chiltern Hundreds" branding for the relaunched and renumbered services to Beaconsfield and beyond.

Carousel Country Wright Streetlite DF 442
Having spent most of its life in grey "Connector" livery with Thames Travel, 442 (SK66HRO) was transferred to Carousel as they took on further work in the Maidenhead area. To this end it was painted in the new Country livery. However it is one Wycombe town service 34 when seen on Castle Street in May 2025 following a Scania decker also from Thames Travel.

Carousel Country Wright Streetlite DF 80441
Sister vehicle 80441 (SK66HRN) is seen leaving Wycombe Bus Station on the 104 to Uxbridge which deviates off the A40 to serve various villages beyond Beaconsfield. The bus is clearly destined to receive Carousel Country branding but lacks even a fleetname. It is seen in August 2025 not long after re-entering service after, like 442 above, having arrived in Wycombe in "Connector" grey. It did however gain a new 80000-series fleet number having arrived as 441.

Another source of suitable secondhand buses was found with Wright Streetlite DF 80444 (RE63EOH) joining the fleet in September 2025. Initially seen after joining in plain red it has since adopted full livery. Formerly Reading Buses 163 the bus is seen in Castle Street actually able to use the stop outside Pizza Hut, probably because the shop has yet to open! A second Reading Buses Streetlite joined Carousel shortly after.
