  Judged the best First
bus at EFE SHOWBUS International 2002 was First Manchester
Leyland Olympian 3280 masquerading as Salford 280. The bus has been repainted in these heritage
colours as part of First Manchester's Golden Jubilee celebrations and accordingly the bus joined the
Gold Run from Trumpington to Duxford on the morning of September 22nd.

Also at EFE SHOWBUS International 2002 was First Manchester 3303, painted into the colours of Wigan Corporation. The bus is seen alongside rally entry 1, First London's gold painted Dennis Trident TN1113 with Wigan built Plaxton President bodywork. | |||

Passed to Eastern Counties was 1045 (N345CJA). The Volvo B6 with Alexander Dash bodywork
is seen in Leicester, having been passed on again - still in EC colours - in August 2000.
