Bristol

Bristol
The Bristol manufacturing company originated as an off-shoot of the tram and bus operator in its namesake city. It shares the same parentage as the aviation industry in Bristol. The company was nationalised after World War II and its products confined to the nationalised bus operators until 1968. Subsequently the company was merged into British Leyland.
