At work in London today is First Olympic Transport ADL Enviro 400 33754 (SN12AOP). A convey of around half a dozen of these buses was spotted on Thursday of the previous week making their way round the M25, presumably from the Dennis works at Guildford. London is a bus spotter's paradise at the moment. Around 1000 Stagecoach buses from fleets around the country are at work, complete with local identities and route branding bereft of the magic word Stagecoach. Other anonymous buses were briefly noted from Metroline, Ulsterbus, Red Rose and Heyfordian. First is the official provider of transport, hence the Enviro400 has prominent First branding. |
