Because of the late entry - and to minimise the handling of cash - we have slashed the price of standard entry from £12 to £10.
Anyone under 5 is allowed in for FREE.
DOGS (under control) are allowed in for FREE.
Carer for disabled visitor: FREE (one per disabled visitor) the Disability Living Allowance letter or similar will serve as proof of eligibility.
Anyone 5 or over and under 16, pays £5.

Separate charges apply for visiting the Whipsnade Zoo and this year, due to COVID restrictions, you must prebook your tickets. Full details of the Zoo and its charges here. A regular free shuttle bus will take you from SHOWBUS to the Zoo from 1100h.

Car parking is free.

For those arriving on a SHOWBUS exhibit there are separate entry arrangements which also apply to large parties & excursions. For details will be sent to exhibitors or are available on request.


By Bus or Train

Several commercial bus services will run specially to SHOWBUS.
From St Albans Abbey Station hourly link via the Verulamium Museum and City Station twice an hour on the Thameslink line: one bus direct and one via Abbey & Verulamium by Red Rose.
Carousel Buses Sunday service 1A between High Wycombe and Hemel Hempstead will be extended to SHOWBUS linking with the Marylebone line at High Wycombe and Amersham, the Underground at Amersham and Chesham and the Euston line at Hemel.
Arriva will run a special service from Luton Airport and Interchange (St Pancras line) via the busway and Dunstable.
There is also the free shuttle from Whipsnade Zoo every 30 minutes.

By Car
Last minute roadworks have closed the A5183 in one direction from Redbourn to St Albans. This may affect your journey home from the grounds. There is a signposted diversion via Harpenden and the A1081 to St Albans.
Parking is free at SHOWBUS. The car park will be available from 0830 as the Redbourn Car Boot will be opening before SHOWBUS.
The Hertfordshire Showground is on the A5183 (Dunstable Road), located just 300m off Junction 9 of the M1
The car park is the first entry to the Showground from the north having exited at junction 9.
From any direction follow the Department of Transport brown signs to the Hertfordshire Showground.

By Plane
From Luton Airport get the Busway service to the Bus & Train Station where we hope to run a regular service to Showbus via the busway - details later.

The huge Redbourn Car Boot sale in the adjacent Car Park - only 50p after noon, the adjacent Hertfordshire Garden Centre, Whipsnade Zoo, Dunstable Downs, St Albans city and Verulamium Roman Museum. On the Saturday there is the Xlusivefest live music event on the Herts Showground site for those wanting to make a weekend of it. Showbus visitors can gat £5 off advance purchase tickets using the code.
