A very early recipient of the new PTV livery was A2 273 seen at the Flinders Street Swanston Street junction in December 2014. Unfortunately the A and B class trams were all in the new leaf inspired livery when the PTV scheme was hatched. It appears that one of each class was given the new livery but the C and D class trams were given priority for the new livery together with a disproportionate number of random Z class trams. In 2018 a few more A class trams started to receive the livery and with B class trams undergoing major overhaul, they are being done as this happens.

Seen on the lower end of Chapel Street in St Kilda at the end of September 2025 is a Class 278 outside the Dick Whittington Hotel. The drive-through became a "Bottlemart" a few years ago, losing its independent status and the infamous "Dick Liquor" sign. A new tongue-in-cheek sign has recently been added.
