TTCDIECAST.com SHOWBUS international is a colourful display of around 500 buses and coaches from all over the UK, plus visitors from overseas. Buses and coaches, old and new, gather annually in September. For 2013 we are bringing SHOWBUS to the Heart of England at Long Marston Airfield near Stratford. We will be celebrating 150 years of Metro-Cammell, 90 years since Midland Red started building its own buses and 80 years of the Guy Arab. MCW's Metrobus will be 35 years old and London's Guy GS celebrates its 60th birthday. We will also have a Dartline to celebrate 25 years of the Dennis Dart. Two more celebrations cover the 40th anniversary of the Volvo Ailsa and the centenaries of Trent, United Counties, Birmingham's and Oxford's motor buses. 2013 will be our 41st display. For 2014 we plan to be back at the Imperial War Museum near Cambridge.
 
MODEL BUSES Model buses have featured as part of SHOWBUS since 1973. From 1995 a special model bus has been produced for the event every year. This year's model was a Stagecoach Cambridge Dennis Trident Alexander ALX400 from TTCDIECAST. For 2012 there was also a model of London Northern Ailsa V3 in a special SHOWBUS presentation box. Most of the previous limited edition models are featured on the website. Model makers include TTC Diecast, Britbus, Base Toys, Forward, Northcord, Corgi, Oxford Diecast, Trax and EFE - details of their future releases are included and their models are depicted in the Bus Photo gallery.
 
TIMETABLES & JOURNEY PLANNERS Click the separate icons for a direct link to the UK wide guide to bus timetables, train times and information as well as our airport directory with transport links and airline listings. Journey planners, real time information and Phone app links are included too. This section is currently being updated with all the latest travel links in early 2012. For over ten years showbus.com has maintained a directory of bus company websites featuring bus timetables. This has grown dramatically over that time. It is now possible to find bus times for most UK bus services and some real time bus information available on line or on mobiles. Our timetable directory has expanded to include train times, listing all UK train companies and even preserved railways offering services in our regional timetable directory. There is now a UK airport directory which includes transport links by bus and train. This is a big undertaking and we try to keep it up to date. Our most popular on line bookings are with Megabus, National Express and Eurolines.
