Number 3 in the Bowen Transit fleet in 2009, registered 783HXU, is an early seventies Leyland Leopard PSU3B/2R new with a Denning SA body to Canterbury Bus Lines in NSW. It received its current Custom Coaches "200" body in 1992. The bus came to Bowen from the associated Whitsunday Transit, but before that was with the Crossley Bus Lines, another linked company, based in Revesby, NSW and registered MO722 with them.
From Geraldton Bus Services in WA (TC3883), this Nissan UD JP251 with B&CI Gemilang bodywork, 24 (344LZL) was receiving attention in the workshops still in its WA livery.
Kindly it was turned to face the camera and is now 10 (856LFP) in the fleet.
Parked across the street was what appears to be a sister vehicle, probably 24 (344LZL), formerly TC3884, in full Bowen livery.
From the associated Collinsville Transit fleet is number 4 (284KAU), a TOST bodied Hino RK176K originally 7PY066 with Burrow of Denmark, WA.
