 Leaving the city behing on Victoria Bridge in March 2016 is three year old Volgren CR228L bodied Volvo B7RLE C2042 (952SPQ), re-registered 288XZD two years later.

Viewed from the footbridge across Melbourne Street a few minutes later was sister vehicle S2044 (865SQR), also in Maroon CityGlider livery. It is leaving the evening daily rush hour cavalcade of buses across Victoria Bridge with new Volgren Optimus bodied Volvo B7RLE E2123 (XQ43KH) behind, followed by Volvo B12BLE W5069 (547XXE), whilst another tri-axle B12BLE, S5094 (838RSH) heads in the opposite direction. S5094 was re-registered 926YBO on 2018, whilst S2044 had new rego 289XZD in 2018 and 289XZZ in 2019!

 Emerging from Brisbane's underground Bus Station in March 2016 is Maroon CityGlider B7RLE C2046 (174SQS), having been new with rego 174SPQ and changing to 380YBC in 2018.

 Looking like a Maroon CityGlider is six month old Volgren Optimus bodied Volvo B8RLE E2848 (XQ58GT) seen in late January 2020. The branding on the nearside promotes "Connections". The bus is not on a CityGlider route though is allocated to Eagle Farm depot, home of the Blue CityGlider fleet.
