 Driver's presence at the Melbourne Cup 2011 was notable. Buses and coaches from the fleet were lined up in the coach park and other buses were operating courtesy shuttles. Parked up was 2007 Custom CB60 Evo II bodied Denning 84 (6742AO) now with CDC, which is a shame as the clever use of the desto to display the stylised fleetname will doubtless have been wiped from its memory. |
 Another Denning, this time with Denning's own body, 89 (8089AO) of 2010 was parked alongside 6 (1006AO) a 2001 MCA Classic II. Interestingly both vehicles passed to CDC. |
 Flemington Racecourse used to be a nursery and flowers - particularly roses - abound. They form a great foreground for 2000 Volgren bodied Volvo B10BLE 8 (1008AO) working one of the site shuttles on race day. |
 A second view of 8, with the CR222L body style. The bus passed to CDC, and is being followed by a Dee Decker vintage MAN, which had operated a Cup Race Special from one of the suburbs. |
