 On layover in the Arts Precinct in January 2020 was 14 year old Volgren CR228L bodied Mercedes O500LE 435 (0956AO). Former Northern 6 had been assigned to the annual mammoth rail replacement operation over Christmas as lines are closed for level crossing replacement or to facilitate the Metro Tunnel project.

 Easter rail work in 2019 had nineteen year old Volgren CR222L bodied Scania L94UB 148 (4299AO) on late evening rail replacement services departing from the back of Federation Square. Working with it was Nuline Charter Volgren SC222 bodied Volvo B7R 18 (7418AO). Bodied in Malaysia the Volvo was sold to Territory Transit at the beginning of 2021.
