A Greyhound Pioneer Landseer in August 1994 stopped at a camel station on the route from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock.

Greyhound Pioneer Landseer at the BP Roadhouse
In July 1997 another Landseer at the BP Roadhouse in the north west of Western Australia. The coach connected with the Monkey Mia Express - a rather beat up older Hino - which bouned for over an hour to the famous Monkey Mia resort by Shark Bay, where tourists can feed wild dolphins.

Back in 1997 the Greyhound route from Perth to Darwin went via South Hedland where the coach arrived in the morning having travelled overnight from Perth. The coach only ran on three or four days a week in the winter.

After several days, near the end of the route from Perth to Darwin the coach rendezvous with another Landseer up from Tennants Creek where it links with services east from Townsville and south from Alice. The BP Roadhouse is located at Katherine in the Northern Territory.

At one point on route the coach was stopped by the police and the luggage hold searched for drugs. Apparently Greyhounds were a means of transporting illegal drugs across the country.
