Invicta Scania K230UB Volgren CR228L Smartbus 207
Invicta was a partner on Smartbus with Grenda and ordered nine Scania K230UB with Volgren CR228L bodies for the route. Seen at Frankston in August 2008, 207 (6707AO) was the only one whose body was not built in Malaysia. Two of the buses were absorbed into the Grenda fleet after Invicta was taken over by Grenda the following year. All buses were later badged Ventura.

Bold Invicta branding can be seen on the rear of 207 (later 8907). Such bold company branding was not seen on SmartBuses until 2012 when Ventura rebranded all Grenda Group SmartBuses as Ventura.

Ventura Volvo B7RLE Volgren CR228L 854
The new Ventura group livery was evident in this sunny afternoon shot of 854 (9049AO) at the 2012 Sandown Truck & Bus Show. Grenda was already eliminating the variety of liveries amongst its subsidiaries whilst retaining their individual fleetnames. The Ventura fleet identification was confined to the depot name situated above the windows at the rear, in this case Lilydale is just visible, but clear in the larger image revealed by clicking on the picture.
