 In January 2015 Scania K280UB 2522 (2522ST) is standing in for one of the regular Volvo B12BLE buses on the doomed 555 CBD Shuttle. A year later the service ceased abruptly when George Street was closed to buses in preparation for the new tram. No alternative ground transport was provided, indeed many routes were terminated on the fringes of the CBD leaving travellers with little other option than to walk. It is 2.5km from Circular Quay to Central Station.
