 Happy New Year 2016, Mercedes 1227 (MO1227) heads a line of waiting buses in the first hours of the New Year to take its share of the crowds home after the annual Harbour Fireworks Display. The buses are waiting near the Cathedral, with 1227 bound for Maroubra. Other buses were deployed around the CBD with services running regularly all night to take the revellers home.

 A year earlier in late January an unusual sight at Bronte Beach with Metrobus-liveried Custom CB60 Evo II bodied Mercedes O500LE 2013 (2013ST) doing a turn on the 378 to Railway Square. On layover from the 378 is Custom Citaro 1351 (MO1351). A year later Bronte Beach was no longer connected to Railway Square and the route had been switched to serve the Maritime Museum as part of the changes following the closure of George Street to buses. Route 440 also linked Bronte to Rozelle via the city. In 2017 Bronte had yet another change served instead by route 379 to North Bondi, severing both Bronte's 389 an 440 links to the city.

 Deployed on the busy Limited Stop 400 service in November 2017 was 1131 (MO1131) seen in north Randwick headed for Bondi Junction.
