 Seen in March 2025 supplementing the route 11 tram service on the occasion of the Melbourne Grand Prix is Scania K230UB 750 (6350AO), new as 50 in 2006. The 11 service was already supplemented with Bombardier E class trams in lieu of the much normal smaller A class cars. The window stickers do not offer much help to passengers, one advises the bus serves Gates 1, 2 & 3. The middle sticker suggests it is replacing tram services from Southern Cross to Luna Park. That implies - as does the lowest sticker - it is replacing the 96 tram not the 11, but the "Race Bus" desto is confusing. The 96 is terminated at St Kilda Station during the Grand Prix, so does not reach Luna Park.

 The 663 links Belgrave and Lilydale taking a picturesque aroute through the Dandenongs. Sister vehicle to 990, Scania 987 (8269AO) arrives at the stunning Kabloom flower festival mid route on the same day.

 In 2009 Grenda acquired this Iveco Metro Hybrid bus - Ventura acquired a Designline hybrid around the same time, but it was not until 2020 that two more hybrids joined the fleet! Both early hybrids have been withdrawn and the Iveco was spotted at Volgren's Dandenong plant in October 2025 along with an unidentified Dysons SC222 bodied semi-coach, whose presence at the assembly plant was also a mystery.
