 Seen outside Flinders Street Station just before Christmas in 2014 is Combino 3525, about to head up Swanston Street. The new PTV livery has made its mark and the D1 class were rapidly revinyled, D2 likewise. Relivery for other classes is being stretched out over several years.

 A few days later on New Year's Eve and 3525 again is on route 16 and not able to continue to Swanston Street with Princes Bridge only open to pedestrians so the tram is terminating at the Arts Precinct s a 16a.

 More disruption in February 2015 for the annual St Kilda Festival. This time another 16a operation stopd the service near Luna Park for Combino 3532 seen on Carlisle Street.

 Moments later Combino 3507 is loading on the wrong side of the road as once it moves towards us it will switch tracks to take it back to Kew.
