 At the depot was 1007, first of four Prevost X3-45 to expand the commuter fleet in 2006, later joined by three Setra S417 the following year, all in the new livery. However in 2014 the writing was on the wall for the commuter coaches. With the commuter runs gaining in popularity Strathcona had introduced the doubledeck Alexander Dennis Enviro500 buses to cope with demand. The decision had been taken to replace the coaches completely with a second order for the newer Enviro500MMC model.
