 An interesting mix of buses in Drummer Street Bus Station in August 2021. Obviously dominating the line up is one of the tri-axle Volvos. Alongside is a Scania, the small and raised rear window distringuishes it from the all Alexander Dennis model. The different livery treatment on the next Busway vehicle suggests it is an Enviro400MMC. Sandwiched between two Stagecoach Gold Scanias is a singledecker, probably an Enviro300 bodied MAN, of which there are several in the city. Then on the end is 13810 (BV18YBC), a Wright bodied Volvo B5TL for the City Sightseeing tours in Cambridge. Sadly, due to the pandemic, they have seen little use, amny being transferred to the London operation which has seen more visitors.

 The wright bodied singledeckers have also been quickly adorned with the new livery, B7RLE 21222 (AE09GYS) being one such bus seen just after crossing the Cam and heading into the city. Interestingly the main bus fleet in Cambridge had yet to see the new Stagecoach livery.

Conspicuously absent during the August visit to Cambridge were the new Busway fleet of MCV EvoRa bodied Volvo B8RLE buses. Only one dained an appearance and was seen from a Park & Ride Enviro400MMC leaving the city. It is 21367 (BU69XXE). The choice of MCV as opposed to Wright bodies is probably more due to Volvo's switch to MCV as its goto bodybuilder for the UK market.
