At SHOWBUS 2005, local Stagecoach Cambridge put on an excellent display of the vehicles used on the Park & Ride services in the city. The fleet is colour coded according to the P&R sites they serve. Arriving here are blue, red and coffee coloured examples. The coffee coloured bus is available for use on any route. All the buses are early ex Stagecoach London Dennis Tridents with Alexander ALX400 bodies retaining their dual doors, leading is former TA10 (S810BWC), now 17010. |
Some early birds using the bus from Cambridge probably got a cheap entry into SHOWBUS. The first run accidentally came into the rally field, rather than using the Museum's external bus stop. They also got to ride on 19300 (AE07KZA) one of the generic liveried dual door Enviro400s newly delivered for the city's flagship Park & Ride routes.
