Konect Optare Solo 900
Trent's Leyland Nationals led to Trent's Optare Deltas and the Optare experience doubtless led to Konect choosing Optares for its first new vehicles. Solo 900 (VX51RHZ) is branded "Dereham Nipper" for service in the company's home town, it is seen at SHOWBUS in 2002.

Konect DAF DB250LF Wright Pulsar Gemini 504
The Optare Delta is based on DAF's SB220 chassis and Konect's first deckers were these Wright Pulsar Gemini DAF DB250LF buses. They were the first DAF/Wright deckers outside London. A batch was purchased in dedicated livery for Norwich Park & Ride, but just one spare bus was ordered in fleet livery, 504 (YJ05PXE). It is seen at SHOWBUS 2005 in the company of two other Wright singldeckers, one each for Reading Scania L94UB 1016 (YN05GXT) and Lincolnshire Road Car Volvo B7RLE 831 (FX05GXJ).

Konect Optare Tempo 406

Konect 407 & Anglian Optare Tempos
At SHOWBUS 2007 Konect exhibited a new Tempo, 407 (YJ56WVA), alongside one for fellow Norfolk operator Anglian, YJ06FZK, an ex-Optare deminstrator, destined to become 415 in the Konectbus fleet when the two operations came under Go-Ahead ownership and only Konectbus survived as an entity.
