The hired ex Chester Leyland Leopards stayed in the fleet a few months in 1989, being used principally on ex London Country route 307, the Sunday and evening journeys on the 321 and Harpenden Town Service. Here 71 (NMB71P) is bound for Hemel Hempstead at Redbourn with a Buffalo B10M on the 344 behind. |
Leopard 70 (NMB70P) is seen on an evening 321 journey bound for Luton. The southern terminus of the long 321 had at that stage been cut back to Maple Cross rather than its long time Uxbridge terminus. |
Leopard 69 (NMB69P) completed the trio. It is seen on the 307 in Redbourn. |
Tucked in behind Buffalo's Plaxton bodied B10M F151KGS at Dunstable is Leopard 71. |
