Still sporting its badger despite being part of First, this standard Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart is on route from Weston to Wells and is passing by the Helicopter Museum in August 1998.

Roe bodied Olympians were something of a rarity. Supposedly similar to the ECW product (both firms were part of Leyland at the time), Roe built highbridge models which found their way to London Country fleets (LR class) and Bristol, amongst others. Bearing in mind the long allegiance between Bristol Omnibus, Bristol Commercial Vehicles and ECW this was a little odd. Three of the surviving models are seen lined up in Marlborough Street depot.

On display and in support at the West of England Bus Rally in August 1998 is Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes 709D 3865 (J865HWS).

In its early days of independence, Badgerline struck a deal with Volvo for new vehicles, primarily for its Weston-super-Mare operations, vehicles being maintained at the local Volvo dealership. This resulted in these rather utilitarian looking Alexander P bodied B10Ms entering service.
|
More conventional looking, but equally out of the ordinary, was a batch of Alexander bodied Volvo Citybuses based on the underfloor B10M chassis, which were acquired under the same deal.
