 Oxford Brookes University transforms into a language school during the summer holidays. The residences are packed with foreign students ready to learn English. It is not all hard study, various social and cultural activities are planned and at the weekend a fleet of coaches from several "local" operators is laid on to convey the foreigners to places like London, Brighton, Bath, Stonehenge, Cambridge and the like. Seen in early July 2012 at Gypsy Lane in Headington awaiting its students is Plaxton Profile bodied Dennis Javelin, DE59ELL. All the fleet have bespoke ELL registrations. |
