The Plaxton coach's days on the Flyer were already numbered in March 2011 with half a dozen Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE buses entering service in a new dedicated Flyer livery in 2010. Arriving in Marlborough Street Bus Station from the Airport is the last of the six, 69505 (BJ10VGG).

Arriving at Marlborough Street on route A2 was 69502 (BJ10VGC). This variant of the A1 direct service took in the Clifton area of Bristol. When the Flyer was suspended for two years during the height of the covid pandemic the A2 was not reintroduced and that was still the case at the start of 2023.
