This bus has had an interesting career. New as a dual door VR for the Bristol City fleet as
C5030 (JOU160P) in NBC green, the bus passed to Cheltenham District and was painted in NBC
red. 5030 was altered to single door in 1988. It received Diamond jubilee livery, the
following year recalling the Cheltenham Tramways colours. It acquired the red and ivory
"Starsky & Hutch" Cheltenham livery in 1993. When 5030 left Cheltenham in 200 for Hampshire
Bus, it was the oldest VR in that Stagecoach fleet. It is seen here at Millennium Showbus
when already with Stagecoach Hampshire Bus at Winchester.
