The once independent fleet of Wessex Coaches was probably the largest private coach operator in Bristol with a large collection of red and beige modern Bedfords. The company was acquired by Bristol Omnibus, but privatised on its own, but later came back into the Bristol fold. This Duple Viceroy bodied Bedford VAM70, RHT919G, was seen in the city probably when new in 1968 and the company was still its own boss. |
