Undoubtedly of the three types of trolley I saw in Beijing, these were the most characterful. Often
heavily laden with gaps in the floor boards - heaven help anyone who fell into the central accordion section! - they do a bit to reduce the pollution in one of the world's most polluted cities.

Two trolleys appear to attempt the impossible and overtake each other!

The outer Beijing trolley terminus of the 107, near the ring road, is something of a wasteland. The trolleys are able to manoeuvre under battery power in off-wire situations.

Followed by a comparatively luxurious air conditioned bus, this trolley crosses the Ring Road to the terminus shown above.

Two trolleys leave downtown Beijing in the evening rush hour.
