Here 411 is seen later that day on the streets of Christchurch. The terminal building, which is also a shopping arcade, as well as the tracks suffered damage from the major earthquake in 2011.

Christchurch Tramways Boon 152
After the earthquake the trams were running again with new track enabling the ride to be extended. Car 152, seen in February 2020, is a 1910 drop centre eight wheel car built locally by Boon & Co, one of 28 supplied since 1906. The drop centre design being an innovation subsequently adopted throughout New Zealand and Australia. After being written off in the early fifties the tram went to the Ferrymead Tramway and Musuem in 1969 for restoration, later being refurbished for the City Tramway.
