 Leyland 642l in the bowels of the Bus Station displays the quaint destination "Engaged", meaning "Not in Service". The red digital destination displays are a curious modern feature of the whole fleet. Note too the dayglow yellow strip down the side of the bus, this adornment was not unique to Golden Arrow and was seen on most private hire and school buses even down to minibuses. |
