After a musical presentation and speeches in the marquee, the grand launch commenced. Enviro 212 pulled forward to reveal the unclad 208 which was escorted to the strains of "Pomp and Circumstance" by three guardsman and a couple of beefeaters. However the bus stopped and a bevy of dancing girls emerged and the tune changed to "Big Spender" - and at nearly $600 000 a piece, RTC spent big on their fleet of fifty.
The Deuce
Enviro 208 was revealed as an all over advertisement for fashion house, Marciano and their boss is cutting the ceremonial ribbon of Marciano Guess jeans, assisting him on the left is Jim Hastie, Chief Executive of Alexander Dennis and immediately on the right is Olivier Brousse, president and CEO of Connex North America. Connex are responsible for maintaining the RTC fleet having taken over the business from National Express.
The Deuce
The ribbon is cut! Now revealed behind the Marciano boss is the charismatic Jacob Snow, General Manager of the RTC and the obvious driving force behind the whole Deuce project.
The Deuce

Here are five of the team of specially selected 100 Deuce drivers, four of whom are sporting their stylish new uniforms, though probably not by Marciano. Jacob Snow had earlier kicked off proceedings in the marquee stripping off his jacket, tie and shirt to reveal his new uniform shirt beneath. The Rat Pack band, which had been entertaining the launch visitors, impromptly broke into "The Stripper" as an accompaniment. Even more appropriate on the Vegas Strip. The fifth driver in the picture is on the right in the white suit. He also entertained the crowd after the formal speeches with a jazz/rap composition featuring The Deuce.
