 Like most small city transit systems in the States, operations operate on a pulse basis with vehicles on all routes meeting at a hub with the opportunity for passengers to transfer between routes and the vehicles then all depart simultaneously. Kingsport Area Transit Center is the local hub, so at a particular time on the clock face buses are departing on all five routes, with paratransit available for good measure. In addition to the Fords minibuses, the fleet uses two "vintage" trolleys on route 5. |
