 Car 1052 is presented Los Angeles Railway orange and yellow. It is seen at the Fishermans Wharf terminus of route F in August 2002. |
 The streetcar was still going strong when seen at night at the Wharf in June 2017.

 In 1981 a strange practice was in place, which puzzled this visitor to the city. Monday to Saturday there was a subway service provided by a fleet of modern Boeing cars, which became streetcars on emerging from the subway. On Sundays the entire service was operated at street level by a fleet of 1950s PCC streetcars, like this pair seen on Market with 1140 leading. Allegedly this gave Sunday to maintain the Boeing fleet. |
