SEPTA Neoplan AN460OQ artic 7167
Neoplans once dominated the SEPTA fleet when in the early nineties, SEPTA was not only the largest transportation authority in North America it also had the largest Neoplan fleet with over one thousand in service. In July 2008 the only Neoplans remaining were AN460OQ artic models approaching ten years of age. This is 7167.

On the other side of City Hall is Neoplan 7176 followed by a New Flyer D40LF the mainstay of the 2008 fleet.

SEPTA NABI 416 5123
Once part of a batch of four hundred similar buses bought between 1996 and 1997, NABI 5123 was now amongst the oldest in the fleet when seen in summer 2008. It is photographed outside Frankford depot.

Even older 5022 is seen from the top deck of a Big Bus ex London DMS, with another DMS and a Philadelphia trolley behind the NABI. Across the field behind is the building housing the Liberty Bell.
