 Silver Line 1130 is a year or so younger than 1007 et al. It is a dual mode vehicle which operates on service SL1 and SL2 which link the South Station via the Waterfront to the Airport and Design Center respectively. From South Station the buses operate in a dedicated tunnel on overheads using their Skoda electric power trains. At the World Trade Center Station, the buses pause whilst the overheads are lowered and they then continue under the power of their Detroit Diesels. Neopan 1130 is seen at South Station. |
