First Eastern National Dennis Dart Alexander Dash 2924
Dash 2924 was sandwiched between 2926 and a Wright bodied Scania of Eastern Counties. The Dash was an uncommon bodystyle, and particularly so in First colours.

Basildon Dennis Dart Plaxton Pointer 924
Contrasting with the relentless advance of Barbie livery, Basildon town service 8 sported these blue and yellow colours back in April 2002. Unusually, perhaps, for a high profile service, non low floor Darts were used like this Plaxton Pointer bodied one, originally Thamesway 924 (M924TEV).

Basildon Dennis Dart Plaxton Pointer 924 & 925
Here 924 and 925 (M925MEV) are seen leaving Basildon Bus Station and heading for opposite ends of route 8.
