 With VDL and Optare being the usual suppliers of smaller vehicles only a handful of Enviro200 buses operate in the fleet and started at Milton Keynes depot. This was one of a handful for new branded MK route 300, 0352 (MX09HHL). The following year they were replaced by silver liveried Mercedes Citaros. The Enviro200 buses had been leased from dealer Mistral and 0352 went on to servce City Sprinter in Glasgow, Maytree Travel branded for the Bolton Metroshuttle 500 service and then back south to Redline. |

 In summer 2009 Arriva bought a batch of twenty 45 seat Alexander Dennis Enviro300 singledeckers for the long distance 300/302 services to replace ageing Volvo B10BLE Wright bodied buses which were displaced to High Wycombe for the trunk services to Reading. Another seven were delivered in red livery for route 4 in Milton Keynes, but did not last long before repaint into the then new standard Arriva livery. This is 3553 (KX09GYC) seen in February 2010 on the 301 approaching St Albans Station. |

 Sister vehicle 3555 (KX09GYE) is seen earlier in December at Welwyn Garden City with more prominent route branding on the nearside. |

 In February 2011 3562 (KX09GYO) is seen in Stevenage Bus Station having almost completed its two hour run from Hemel Hempstead. |
