Motts Travel Waddesdon Race for Life
Having rescued the Race for Life Park & Ride a few years earlier, it became an annual fixture in Motts' calendar and they shifted to making it an entirely in house operation and many of the fleet were deployed on the appropriate Sunday morning in May. Here are the assortment of vehicles lined up at Westcott ready for the start of action and seen from the door of one of the Alexander bodied Leyland Tigers, several of which were taking part in the operation.

The return run was more intense with many the competitors finishing around the same time. To complicate matters coaches could not leave the way they came in and had to exit the Manor's rear entrance. Initially they went the long way round towards Ashendon and into the back of Westcott village as runners were still on the road on the quicker route back to Westcott via Waddesdon village. Once the road was clear of runnrs the route changed.

Even one of the Optare Solos joined in. Unfortunately trees in the Manor grounds prevented the use of doubledeckers.
