Seen together in the yard at Stoke Mandeville are the Plaxton Cheetah and Autobus Classique Mercedes together with one of the two ex Shearings Jonckheere Volvo B10Ms which has retained its original registration.

Motts R902EDO, the Autobus Classique bodied Mercedes Vario was acquired at the same time as the first Mistral. Both vehicles operated in all over white livery for a while before receiving the new vynils.

The Stone yard is to be found fenced and locked. An elderly Jonckheere/Volvo is seen with two minis, the Plaxton Cheetah and - with rear advert - the Mercedes 711D P373XGG, usually found on the Brill/Thame bus routes. The yard is now the home of Red Rose Travel. |
Mercedes O816D GT07MTT was a second Plaxton Cheetah added to the fleet after a flirtation with foreign bodied Mercs. It is seen awaiting passengers outside the Queens Building at Heathrow in 2007.
