Standard Ford Transit F725MNB was used for school runs and crew transfers. Not so obvious is its previous owner was the same as that for the ex Green Line ECW bodied Tiger, namely Darlington Transport - fleet number 25. Many Showbus 98 patrons may recognise it too as it was used by the Showbus crew for internal site transport on the weekend. |
Smartly turned out in Red Rose colours, this ex Thames Transit Mellor bodied Transit, D124PTT, found a useful niche in the Red Rose fleet. It was often found on the now discontinued evenings and Sundays Aylesbury Town Service 11.

Assisting Red Rose during a vehicle shortage was this Lutonian Mercedes 709D with Made to Measure coachwork, K27WND. The vehicle was formerly 2077 in The Shires fleet - and was still carrying that number. The Shires acquired several of these Mercedes from Birmingham Omnibus. Alongside is Red Rose Ford Transit with a Crystals body conversion, H63BKM. |
This Freight Rover Sherpa used to belong to Red Rose (and Mullany's of Watford before that), it was with Vale Travel of Aylesbury and painted in their colours when photographed in the Red Rose yard in Aylesbury. It displays blinds for the Red Rose 373 route and was another vehicle subcontracted from time to time.
