For a small independent Red Rover had a long history of acquiring new buses, right through to its end. There were also lots of secondhand acquisitions and this one escaped before the fleet was renumbered in 1977. It is an AEC Regent V, believed to have been South Wales 475 (NCY466). It is parked in the Bicester Road yard. |

An unusual - and largely unsuccessful - secondhand acquisition was GWX840J, an all Seddon Pennine IV with dual purpose seating. It originated with Edwards of Liverpool. |

The archive starts with a Harrington bodied AEC Reliance, so we end with one too, 83VPP, like 1234PP, a 41 seater but is a Cavalier whist 1234PP was a Grenadier model. |
