Seen at the 2001 Cobham rally was this ex London Dennis Dart which had been given a facelift by a southern dealer. The "new" bus, H877WOC, former DT77, did not enjoy the low floor access but a Plaxton Pointer front replaced its original Carlyle front. |

Red Rover of Aylesbury occasionally purchased singledeck buses second hand and this Red Rover archive picture of their 8, later 108, (EPH189B) is seen on Bicester Road not long after the bus had been acquired from Safeguard. Whilst the companies had similar liveries 8 was repainted in Red Rover's "Sunset Red" and the "Highway Yellow" was extended to the roof, whereas it had been red in Guildford. The bus is heading on route 15 to Calvert, known for the London Brick Company works near the village. |
