Before Arriva's takeover, the Lynxes were ousted from their favourite haunt - the Reading-Wycombe 329 - by the batch of Plaxton Verde bodied Volvo B10B singledeckers from Oxford. Volvo 625 (N413NRG) is one of a number originally intended for Go-Ahead North East.

A second view of 625, both are at the Handy Cross Sports Centre in High Wycombe. The centre is served by a convoluted diversion on such a long trunk route so timimg was not very reliable and the diversion, initially by only Wycombe Bus, but later Reading Buses - with the route being a joint operation - did not survive. In 2016 the town's Park & Ride site was relocated to the venue, offering a very good service to the Sports Centre.
