 In 2017 new hybrid Enviro400HMMC models took over the 427 from Uxbridge to Acton. Arriving at Uxbridge Station one May morning that year and looking very new, thanks to the lack of adverts, is 2568 (YX17NVP). Tucked in behind is a First Berkshire Enviro200 arriving on the 58 from Slough.

 With blinds set ready for the return journey sister vehicle 2553 (YX17NUY), burdened by adverts, is seen in York Road, Uxbridge that evening.

 Similar buses had arrived two years earlier for the U5 from Uxbridge to Hayes and Harlington, 2531 (YX15OXA) is turning on the Uxbridge Station forecourt.
