Not exactly fleet livery, but had the Country Area of London's buses still existed and had any New Routemasters been cascaded to that area then just maybe this is what they would have looked like. Back in the fifties RM2 was painted and saw service in the Country Area so Arriva painted LT2 in a green livery, though it is definitely not the shade of green that RM2 and the rest of the Country Area fleet used. It is seen in October 2016 in Bloomsbury. Earlier in 2013 the bus was selected - when still red! - to tour Europe promoting London and the UK.

Some inside shots of LT6 (LT12FHT), from which the Picture of the Week LT2 was taken. The scrolling sign and accompanying announcement warn passengers to look for moving traffic when alighting. |
The deep rear dome and curved staircase are so reminiscent of the old Routemaster, but the window and consequent lighting are quite novel.
